ConcertCare and International Development Connection Announce Merger to Form ConcertIDC

BIRMINGHAM, AL – Two proven software development companies, ConcertCare and International Development Connection (IDC), have officially merged to become ConcertIDC.

Licensed and insured in the United States and headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, the company has 120+ employees working in four states in the U.S. and eight states in India. Concert IDC offers full stack software development to organizations in a broad range of industries, including health care, finance, education, social platforms, transportation and logistics.

Debra Hays, formerly the CEO of ConcertCare, will retain that title with ConcertIDC. With 25+ years in upper management and 20+ years of IT experience, Hays brings a wealth of expertise to Concert IDC, from operations management and business process improvement to strategic direction and channel management.

“We believe the merging of our companies makes us more than twice as strong as we were as separate businesses,” Hays said. “We’re significantly strengthening our capabilities and presenting an even more robust menu of services to our clients.”

Brandon Barker, the former CEO of IDC, will serve as chief revenue officer of the merged company. He will be responsible for all activities and processes that generate revenue, including sales, pricing, marketing and corporate development. Barker will also serve as president of the ConcertIDC Inc Tank, a unique technology incubator that transforms early-stage ideas into engaging products and services.

“I’m tremendously excited about the new opportunities presented by this merger,” said Barker. “ConcertIDC will offer clients a powerful combination of world-class technical expertise, outstanding communication and real accountability to achieve success.”
